you've probably heard this before "visualize your goals and you'll achieve them" or "if you want to attract your goals or the things you love try visualizing them", but you probably asking how do i do that? And does it really work?

Well it does work, but, you have to learn how to do it properly, though it's not some high advanced technique or skill you have to learn, it's just works if you follow some basic steps and apply them the right way!

Let's first see what is visualization and how it will help you fast track your way to your goals.

according to Cambridge dictionary website " it is the act of visualizing something or someone (= forming a picture of it in your mind)" and this is pretty much it, as simple as it is, you picture something you want to have, focus on it, feel it, and then imagine yourself having it, how does that make you feel?

The feeling you develop by visualizing what you want is what will attract it to you, because feelings are one of the most powerful and beautiful tools humans have to express themselves and to attract, thus it makes them perfect for attracting the goals we want to achieve, and you'll see how is that going to happen.

when we picture something we truly want, we're actually rewiring our brain to a new reality, a reality where feelings are not related only to our current understanding of 'Reality' in other terms not related only to what we think is possible and within our range of attainability, But they go way beyond that, we are rewiring our brain to a whole new concept but yet very simple, a concept that is based on the fact that everything is attainable, if we cannot attain something by touch or sight, we can get to it by our mind.

Understanding this opens so much more possibilities, our brain is like a muscle every time we work on nourishing it with new perspectives and ideas it expands and grows,

when we visualize we are actually asking more from our brain, because yet to now everything we see is with our eyes, so when we cannot see something we think it's beyond our reality, but that's not true, because we're judging our reality based on what we see with our eyes only, and there's the mind now, a tool we'll use to create the reality we seek.

The simple act of sitting down, closing our eyes, and opening the mind to see the things we want, will actually rewire the brain to the new concept, and by doing that we generate feelings and emotions which are very important to this process, because they are the bridge that connects the brain to the reality we want to create, once these feelings are generated the brain will start integrating the new perspective into it's data base, then it will be just a matter of time till the brain accepts the reality and will be provide us with every possibility out there so we can see the things we're visualizing with our eyes and every other sense.

Now we will see how can we make the process of visualizing our goals effective with tangible results, there are some basic steps we need to make sure we understand and follow properly

first of all for the visualization to work effectively we need to make sure about what is it that we want, we need to ask ourselves about the goals and the things not only that we need to attract but also whether they are as important as we think they are, so the first thing is

1. Clarity about our goals:

We cannot expect for our visualization work to be efficient and effective if we're not sure about what we would like to have, every time we enter into concentration and deep focus we waste energy on thinking what we want to have and what should we visualize instead of spending the energy on visualizing the things we already know we need,

this means that we need preparation and we need to be clear and honest with ourselves, we need to know what are the goals that we need to achieve in the next weeks, months, or years.

2. Be Extremely passionate:

If we are willing to spend energy on something we must make sure that it is important for our journey to achieving our goals, thus we need to be passionate about the goals we're going after, not something that has just entered our radar, because we might loose interest in it very fast, and we end up wasting our valuable energy and missing life changing results.

choose something that has been within you since the beginning of your journey, something that is directly related to your end goals.

3. Be Consistent:

One last ingredient, which is consistency, you cannot reframe and rewire your brain that has been working based on the same understanding of reality since you were born, with just occasional work, it's just not enough, for your to convince your brain of the new way to create your reality and for your brain to accept that, you need to do it on daily basis, yes visualizing your reality, your goals, everything you want to have everyday, momentum has be to build around us, a new routine is shaping up, a new reality is being made in our minds, and for us the see that reality with our own eyes, we have to be consistent, more consistent than our brain which wakes you up every morning, tells when you need to eat, when you need to sleep, when you need to have fun, to laugh, to be sad, to live, it never forgets, you see what we're dealing with, an incredible tool we need to harvest to build our own reality.

So now that we know the basic yet powerful and important principles of visualization, i'm will tell my way on how i do it:

  1. I start by identifying what i want to visualize first, what are the most important goals i need to reach so i can build more momentum around me.

  2. I write down each goal i will visualize i keep them on a place where i can see them

  3. The first i do in the morning is my gratitude ritual

  4. I then go over the list to remember all of the goals i've written so i don't waste my time remembering things.

  5. I close my eyes and i start visualizing and picturing every single goal, and while i'm doing that i make sure i'm sharp focused on the goal itself and not distracted, so i keep my phone away, and keep focusing until i get that feeling of me having that goal within my hand, it feel great!

  6. I keep the same goals for months but sometimes i change if i feel that the goal is not strong enough or i change my opinion about it.

Now you have everything you need to start integrating visualization into your life, and make it part of your routine, there are tons of ways of how we can achieve our goals but there are only few basic you need to learn and apply in every other way, and visualization of the goals and reality we want to create is one of them.
