No matter what your passion is, every person who is convinced that they should have a defined purpose they can pursue in their lives, has at some point to shift from the state of vision into the state of action, and this shift could be easy for some us as it could be heavily challenging for others.
This challenge which is getting out of that endless routine of visualizing your goals and your actions, into a more alive state, a state of being filled with motion and hope, a state where action taking is king, requires a lot of energy, whether it is physical or mental, energy that provides enough motion to keep us moving forward, and focused on our purpose and our action plan.
and today we'll be exploring one the ways that will give us the energy we need to succeed in that shift and never go back into the vision state where no action lives, which is sadly where the majority of people are found.
The topic of action taking is one of the most talked about topic in the personal development space, and it is perfectly logical considering the fact that without action all of what we know is irrelevant, it's just stored information that might never be useful unless we decide we no longer need to over visualize and now we need to make that shift to the state of action
the thing is, before heading into any cause or purpose we mostly have to believe in the cause itself, not just believing that it's the right thing to do but strongly believing in it, and visualizing building our lifestyle around it.
So for us to make that shift a success we mainly need two ingredients; knowledge of what we're trying to achieve and the eager to take action.
But,
knowing that though is definitely not enough, and the ingredient the mixture would miss, is mental preparation, warming up your mind of what's waiting for you, being aware that even though we've made a plan it's probably not going to be applied entirely, things can go off, we can lose control, and can simply fail reaching the expectations we've made to ourselves.
That's when optimism kicks in, optimism is something that we are born with it's in our DNA but to prevent ourselves from having a utopian vision of things, we need realism which is blending good expectations with the circumstances of our environment
The one thing we all know is that technically we cannot predict the future, but we can develop scenarios from what we've been experiencing so far, also from others experiences, these scenarios will helps us warm up our minds for what's coming and what are the results following the action we'll be taking in the future, whether it's good or less good.
Once we gather the needed elements for us to quite that bubble of over visualizing or daydreaming and heading towards the reality that we've been trying to avoid by fear of the unknown, we can take that leap of faith, so far we've identified the elements as the following;
. Knowledge
. Action taking
. Mental preparation
The mistake that we all seem to make when we first start the journey of goal achieving, is related to the expectations we have for ourselves and our actions, important action taking is something new to us at this stage, so when we take any sort of action we expect rapid results from it, and that's the issue, we should not, because the results are probably going to be zero, in the short term of course, because these actions are meant for the long run.
We take these actions because because we need to build momentum around ourselves, and momentum takes time and consistency to be gathered and exploited, action over action for a considerable period of time equals higher results.
If you still find yourself in the over visualizing state, it's totally ok we've all been there, and we're still there for many part of our lives, you will sort it out, just you have to make sure what it is your vision, what are your tangible goals, do you truly believe in your vision, if so how are you applying it to your life, are you making it a life style of it's own?
Once we gather enough knowledge about what we want to achieve, we need to make sure that's what we'll be dedicating our life to, then when the belief is strong action will undoubtedly follow.
